Упала с неба звезда,
Она скатилась туда,
Куда уходят года
Навсегда, навсегда, навсегда.
А что осталось тогда,
Когда упала звезда,
Огни реклам, города
И трава, и вода.
Уходят люди и звёзды,
Проходят зимы и вёсны,
Они назад не вернутся,
Только песни остаются.
И опустевшая сцена

И как прежде улыбнётся.
Мы помним все хорошо
Улыбку Джо, голос Джо,
Он пел жизни людей,
Городов, тополей и огней.
Немного прожил он лет,
